Gwen sighed as she made her way into the small camp of shacks and tents. True, it was poor, but it was and always would be her home. She looked around, her green eyes flickering in the darkness of the night. Camp fires were scattered here and there, with small families gathered around them. Shifting her bow on her back, she walked to a small tent at the edge of camp. Once concealed inside, she unloaded her stealings of the day. A worthless bracelet, two small loaves of bread, and a metal trinket of no value. Gwen sat back on her heals. It was barely anything...
Muttering a curse, she angrily stuffed the items into a sack. How was she to survive if all she could steal were d**ned trinkets? Gwen brushed a stray brown lock of hair behind her ear. Her eyes glittered with annoyance. What she needed was another thief, a person she could trust to help her steal things. They could split their aqquired items 50/50. Gwen gritted her teeth stubbornly, thinking hard. There was no way she could continue surviving on bread alone. She needed to befriend another thief, an outlaw, like herself....

Shayla crept into the darken filled camp on the back of her horse. Hopefully her presences wouldnt be too much of anything. The steed that she was riding and that she called,Fiend, stopped silently towards the outer rim of the camps. Shayla dismounted her horse, who was only her friend, and tied the rope to a tree limb. Her hood hid her outer line of her face, as the fires glowed and flickered near by. Laying down what seemed to be her bow and arrow, next to Fiend as she made her way down to the ground, as she sat on the tuffs of grass. She watched in the darkness at the others hudling around the fires, letting her mind wander freely from the perils she would face in these new parts.

"Greetings," a smooth voice called from the shadows. Gwen stepped into the light of the fire, making herself visable to the lady, although she kept her dark cloak around her. "I havn't seen you around here before...." Gwen concluded, her green eyes intent on the lady's face. "I am Gwen." She offered her her hand to shake, although she kept her eyes on her face, ready for anything.

Shayla turned her head towards the sound of the voice. Her eyes followed the figure until she was visible in the glowing light of the fire. She gripped a dagger in her cloak just in case this one was up to something. She let loose of it as the lady handed her a hand shake. She hesitated and then stuck her hand out and shook it and saying. "I'm Shayla, and I'm new to these parts" She let go and motion her to sit down by her.

Gwen drew her dagger with instinct as the lady put her hand on hers, but then quickly apologized and put it away. She grinned. "Well, welcome to the Outlaw's Camp!" Gwen kicked a rock, and scuffed her boot on the ground. Shrugging, she added, "I know its not the Palace or anything, but its secret, and free of guards." She grinned meekly at Shayla. Her green eyes flicked to her horse. "He's a beautiful animal.... wherever did you get him?"

Shayla chuckled at Gwen's comment, and shook her head. "Yes, the only thing is that we keep safe and hidden, not with fancy-smancy palace, that says, 'Here are the thieves of the lands, come and have a drink'." Her face gave away a small smile towards her and looked where Gwen looked at, her horse, Fiend. "His name is Fiend"as she spoke, she got up and stood by the horse's side, patting his neck. "I got him from the realm of the elves, when I..."She stopped dead in her words, then quickly picked up again."when I was scurving around." She didnt make the last words confident. She bit her lip, hoping in her mind that Gwen wouldnt ask questions.
