A solitary breeze blew by the land carrying many different sensations of evil and death with it. These forests were told to be a portal for beasts and creatures who had a lust for killing others...this mistress should fit right in here. It may have only been the medieval times, but the figure of this woman had been around thousands of years, and expirienced enough to scar her for the rest of her immortal life. As yet another breeze went by strands of ebony and silver from her hair flowed with it, but now she was hidden in the shadow of a branch on a tree.
The vampiress dubbed Moon perched on the branch still and silent. Her eyes scanned the area for any being to prey on, occuli picking up most movements with deadly accuracy. The end of her dress was the only part of her that dangled over the edge, letting any other smart being know she was there. It was to still this night for her taste, but the young blood drawer would stay in the forests, thankful to get away from the mortal race.

The thunder of hoof beats echoed through the forests as the vampiress returned from the stables with the most evil mare she could find. Raven, as the creature was called, had the heart of a beast and gave a look of killing to any who watched her. Standing at 17.2 hh and being built of maily muscle the mare was one of greatness indeed. It was easy slipping the horse out, simply slaying the barn attendant and coaxing the being to let her ride it. A glare of fire was in Moon's eyes, she may have hated all mortals, but this being seemed demon like, evil enough for her to ride and know it wasn't poisoned by the light of good.
Moon haulted the mare within the clearing she occupied before, listening for any other that may have followed her. The friesian glared around the land, keeping dead accuracy of what the vampiress was doing. Moon dismounted the creature and ground tied her near the large, eerie oak.

Into the forest they moved, dried leaves and fallen branches cracking and crumbling beneath those pounding hooves as he went. The wind blew back his hair, as well as his horses mane. He slowed the horse down to a trot by leaning back into his sitting position atop the horses back. The stallion pranced nervously, but with a reassuring hand he would pat his neck softly. "Quiet down," he murmured softly to his stead. "Nothing will hurt you while we are together." Within an instant the stallion was quiet, moving at a brisk trot through the forest.

The vampiress fell dead silent when sencing the immortal once more. Slowly she remounted her mare after untieing her, but wouldn't move the being otherwise as she peered around for the figure. Moon drew her dagger from her hip and coaxed the mare forward when seeing a silougette moving in the distance on a stag of his own. "Who are you immortal?" She hissed to the male as they came close enough to defend if needed. '
Her gaze was hard and cold on the being, yet she didn't show her weapon or any sign of attacking...yet.

ooc: Writers Block? Pah! That could be published!
Gwen stepped uneasily through the forest brush, her hand clamped tightly around her bow. Her green eyes darted warily around, reflecting the stars above. She wasn't lost, her pride had taken hold of her, almost daring her to face the forest's challenges. At first Gwen had viewed it as a game... now that she was here, she wasn't so sure.
She stepped lightly on the ground, trying to avoid the snapping of twigs that might call predators. She gritted her teeth, angry at her own foolishness. Pushing a stray lock of hair behind her ear, Gwen spotted something up ahead. From a distance, it appeared to be fabric of somekind. Suddenly Gwen remebered the vampires which haunted the forest. Her hand shot to her bow with lighting speed, and swiftly strung an arrow. She pointed it ahead, her eyes narrowed. Shaking with nervous adrenalin, Gwen readied her stance, prepared for anything.

He would stop the stead as the other immortal would speak. "I am Damian..." He would not mention his last name, unless it was needed. "And may I ask who you are?" Rider and horse were still, gaze dancing over the other... watching in silence. "If I am intruding, I shall leave." He offered his words to her, they would seem kind though no emotion laced his words.
Hands roamed over the stallions neck, stroking the length of it softly. The stallion became antsy, being a stallion near a mare could definately be the problem. "Silence." He muttered softly to the horse, hands reassuring him... and the stallion would head to his words and stand still as he watched the other cautiously.

She kept her dagger drawn, though the other didn't seem to be a threat looks could be decieving. Moon scanned over the immortal and his stud, peering for any weapons they might be carrying. "I am cursed Moon...and your fine as long as you didn't let anything follow you." The vampiress replied in a cold tone...which was usual for her. Swiftly she backed her mare slightly away from the stallion to ease both the beings nerves. She brought her dagger to the other hand as she watched the immortals every move, on edge that he was here to try and slay her or invade the land she was taking temporary residence on.
Before she could speak another word a sence from another being came to her. 'd**n...' She cursed in her mind, hating being around more then one of any two legged anything. This time she pulled her dagger fully out, incase the other was watching them and cared to try anything...yet she wouldn't flee. This was where she claimed to guard for the time being and she was going to stick to it.

Gwen sank back in the bushes as the two vampires spoke. She lowered her bow, but kept hold of it, prepared. Peering at them, her green eyes danced with curiousity. She sat silently, watching them, deciding not to intrude on their conversation; partly out of politeness, partly because she feared what two vampires might do....

"Tis a pleasure to me you, Cursed one." With one leg he moved the stallion, making him swerve around to face the direction of the other who was approaching. Nose was lifted to the air, a deep sniff taken of the scent that was drifting in the wind toward the two of them. He watched cautiously, gaze dancing over the forest before him.
"Whom is it that approaches?" Had he been followed? He had no idea whether he was or not, but he demanded to know who the presence was.

Moon simply shifted her gaze to face the newcomer. Her hood was now removed, revealing the pale tone to her skin and the odd coloring to her eyes. She wouldn't go near the other, just stand on guard incase needing to react suddenly. If looks could kill the trespasser who was hiding would have been dead by now...she wasn't fond of lurking away from the main point of why anything was. As for the male he seemed at least trustworthy, that didn't let her guard down though. I'd take more then a few polite words to get her to trust anything.
She shifted her weight on Raven and stared coldly at the bush where the other being was. Moon stayed focuse on the other...watching. This one would be d**ned if anything would catch her off guard...once before that had happened and the vampiress punished herself severly with it.
((Bleh, that was a bad post. Sorry.))

Gwen cursed. How could she have been so foolish as to believe that vampires would not discover her? Slowly, she rose from the bush. She put down her bow, her only weapon. She thought herself slightly too trusting in them, but knew that in the given situation, they could kill her if they wanted. Looking at the vampires, she replied evenly, "I am sorry if I intruded your territory." Gwen scuffed her boot on the ground, but kept her eyes on them. "You see, I was making my way to the city, and thought that it would be a short cut through this forest." She debated whether to tell them her name or not, but figured that they already knew it, being able to read minds. Gwen shifted her weight uneasily as she awaited their reply.

Her cold stare was fixed only on the intruder standing before them. Moon looked her over and watched her put her weapon down, she didn't mean a threat yet anyways. The dagger remained in her hand, there were to many beings around for her to trust right now...not so much that they were there, more of the overwhelming of being a loner suddenly stuck with others. "Fair enough..." She replied to her, then glanced away and moved Raven back a few steps into a different shadow...not hiding, just watching. Moon litened intently to the words of the thief her cold, fridged eyes still upon the both of them. "Are you going to use that weapon?" Moon hissed to her as her gaze caught the bow in her hand.

Damian would watch from his position, listening to the words of the one who had approached. He was a little more understanding than the Cursed One, as he had called her earlier, in this situation. A nod of his head would be given to the girl as she had put down her weapon. "Her weapon is down on the ground, she means no harm..." Although as he spoke his tongue would venture along his cold lips.
He shook his head, looking away from her. Heels would dig into his horses stomach, urging him on in a brisk trot deeper into the woods, away from the two of them. (( Sorry I was gone, my brother stole the computer from me...))

With sword drawn the figure came out of the darkness and thrashed it at Moon to knock her off her horse. "d**n whelp thought you could get away that easily?" He cursed to her, holding the blade's tip to her throat so if she made the slightest move she'd end up piercing her own fleash. Venom stood over the vampiress, glaring at the other beings to stay out of it and hitting the horse so it go off. "Well? Fight back whelp, make me 'sufer' like you have in the past...make my day weakling..." He growled to her, his pure black demon eyes staring hard and long into her orbs, trying to hypnotise her to surrender to his whim.

Gwen bit back a yell of surprise as the demon's blade came crashing through. Intinct took over her mind. With trained hands, she swiftly picked up her bow and strung an arrow. She watched him silently as he pressed his gleaming sword tip to Moon's throat. Her green eyes glittered with defiance. Moon had spared her life, she was ready to defend her if needed. "Demon..." she called to him, her voice penetrating through the distance between them. "What be you trying to do?" Gwen stared at him coldly, her gaze not wavering. Her fingers itched to release her arrow, and watch it slice through his chest. But she did not know him yet... who knew, he could prove to be a powerful ally....
